 Raised in Henryetta, Oklahoma, Claudine Stubbs Henry, accepted the Lord at a children’s camp when she was seven years old. She will tell you that the motto her family lived by was “When the church doors open...BE THERE!”
She attended Southern Nazarene University and majored in Christian Education. Since that time she has worked in almost every area of the church: children and youth director, Sunday School teacher, missions, lay-training, leading worship, directing productions and most recently writing and teaching the Prayer 101 curriculum for her church.
In 1989 her greatest life experience began...it was during this time that both she and her husband Larry, began to experience their own personal holocaust. Plagued with unexplainable illness and eventually clinical depression, they had to find a way to serve God and believe in His promises even when it looked as though they were heading for bankruptcy and separation.
Heartstring Ministries is an outgrowth of those years. During that time Claudine learned as never before, the power of prayer, the healing that comes from praise and the incredible promise of His Word. |
